    Hi guy’s,

Has anybody here developed a set of retirement homes?

i am kinda interested on doing so. i tried to do a research but i got an ample of info.

actually, i just wanted to ask about the costing per unit when building a retirement homes.

does it needs to be near hospitals?

and what property/properties needed to be build with it.

any reference would be very much welcome.

    with much gratitude.

    Jack

I’ve never developed a nursing home before, but I have worked as a nurse in one, and all I can say is that it should be within a 10-minute drive to a nearby hospital so that if any emergencies happen it can be handled adequately.

Technically you aren’t required to build any properties besides the housing units but you should add a common room where people can gather and a lounge area.

Are you talking retirement villages or the SEPP5 (NSW) housing for over 55's?
