I went to a free seminar and it was the most costly experience of my life.

I bought an off the plan and by the time it go up and going, I had been hit with so many fees, my head spun.  Their finance arm EASYPLAN dicked around and didn't get finance before settlement and I had to pay lots of extra costs.  They also got me finance through the most expensive source and the valuation for the property came in so far under I had to top up with an extra $90,000.

I'm not locked in with them and I would do anything to get out of it.  I wish I had tuned to my gut reaction to cool off and NEVER SIGN ANYTHING on the same day.  They are very skilled at being slick and convincing.  Properties are always so far overpriced and hungry salesmen just want their commission – it's why you pay 10% – it pays for their commission and then they go and sting the next victim.

    STAY AWAY FROM PARK TRENT

You need to remember that most of these companies are really just trying to sell you property. As an example how many companies are selling house and land packages in outer areas. What you may not know is they are currently making around $30,000 per deal. One company was selling properties in Cairns because the commission was $50,000. Most of these marketing businesses are more about what they will make than whether this will be a good investment
