How long has it been listed for sale?

Hey Investors,
Is there some easy way, or a website, for finding out how long a certain property has been advertised for sale? Makes sense that the longer the listing, the more interested the seller would be in negotiating (unless its a sign of a seller fixed to their price and unwilling to budge). Had my eye on a real dump which has been advertised for at least 3-4 weeks (since I first saw it) but goodness only knows how much longer before that.

The only two I know of are RP Data and Investar but they are paid services.

Australian property monitors also have days on market information – they trawl the adverts. Also a paid service.

ten_burner, that’s an awesome site – thanks so much! unfortunately the one i had my eye on wasn’t on there, but interesting to see 3 other houses in the same suburb, one with a massive 218 days advertised! another 199 and another 213 days. plenty others with <20 also. just shows my idea of renovating that one to rent rather than buy could possibly be a better choice.

http://www.oldlistings.com.au can also give an indication of the previous history of listings for sale (not sold price)
Might be helpful – it is for me.
