    hi Guys,

I just bought a property, when the bank valuator came down a few days after i signed the contract, he said the copper pipers and taps were missing, so it is not in a liveable condition, we would need to have the house to a liveable state before the bank will approve our loan.

What is the best thing to do here? Do i have a case to ask the vendor to fix all the damaged? furthermore, I noticed that the property door was left wide open when I went there, so the agent didnt locked the door.

My settlement date is getting closer and im becoming really anxious

Please advise me what action to take in this situatio.

    THanks

if the condition of the property has changed since executing the sales contract you may have grounds to delay settling or break the contract. Speak to you solicitors/Conveyancer & get them to notify the vendor accordingly.

    Hi Kidz

    Welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Which state are you in? Have you exchanged contracts yet?
