Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot (Newbie at all this!) but we're considering a long terms buy and hold with an up front cosmetic reno on a little place in Brighton in Queensland………while we're hearing that 'the market' is going to be flat for a few years everywhere, obviously there are markets within 'the market' …….we're wondering if anyone's done much research (data or experiential) into Brighton and it's potential for growth in the next 3 – 5 years …and for that matter thoughts on the longer term prospects in the area. We live in Brisbane but have been looking inside the 10k radius ….. just starting to wonder about the merit of starting with a more 'affordable' entry property but not wanting to compromise growth opportunity in the short to medium term …….
