- As a financially independent 31 year-old with managed business investments in Australia, the UK and China, I'm interested in meeting up with one or more Brisbane-based property investors to learn from them and to offer unique/interesting conversation/perspective from an investor with substantial experience in the largely different asset class known as small business.
Starting from scratch in 2003, my wife and I have built a wholesale trade business that now puts us in a position to invest our time and money outside our main business. Our business gives us far more income than we would dream of spending on ourselves for now, but remains in what would usually be regarded as a high-risk area of investment.
To be honest, I'm looking to just meet up (over coffee/beer?) with a Brisbane-based investor (or investors) actively purchasing property and achieving positive cashflow outcomes within a period of about 12 months from purchase. In exchange, there may be some value I can add to such a person's business through general discussion and the unique perspective of someone who has achieved financial independence through a means unrelated to real estate investment.I'm not an absolute novice and have a couple of properties under my belt now, but am looking to significantly expand my property asset base.
