All Topics / Help Needed! / Beginner to investing a property
Hi All,
I am a beginner to investing a property, I had read couples of book and some other resources regarding property.
Include Steve McKnight's book.As my current condition, is still prior to a "market ready" status.
I would like to do some preparations to become a "market ready" player.Do you have any ideas and experiences to share with that you were having before which had the same status and condition like i am facing now ?
What steps do need to do in sequence ?
I am a married, we are on a bridging visa in Sydney.
And planning to invest in property for the future. And I have some basic questions :
1. Can a bridging visa status buy a property in Australia ?
Which one come first Principle Place of Residential or Investment Property ?
2. Can a first home buyer buy a house with "Investment Property" status ? or must buy PPR first ?
3. As mentioned by asset protection experts, buying properties under structure of "TRUST" for safety reason, can a first
home buyer (bridging visa) set up a Trust Structure first and than buy property under this structure (whether PPR or
Investing Property)?
4. How much the cost and how long is the process of setting up a Trust (PIT=Property Investment Trust), and what
documentation needed ?Thank you very much for your explanation and sharing.
