Does anyone know anything about the 'Little hero' appartments? http://www.whitehat.com.au/Melbourne/Buildings/LittleHero.asp
They are made and fitted out in a factory, transported onsite and then stacked like shipping containers 8 stories high?!?!
It looks like a very interesting concept to me for high density development.

I saw this on Better Hones & Gardens a while back – looked great. There was some hold ups getting the unit on top of the building, from memory forgot to get a permit, had to do it within the time that the trams didn’t run, and had to reattempt another day due to wind

yeah they showed a piece on the development on ABC on Sunday. Pretty amazing, only took them 20 days or so to erect the whole building. They are around 475k each…
