Without getting in to the long story, my property has damage from building movement and the latest stalling tactic from the body corporate in relation to my requests for them to contribute to the cost of repairs is to 'defer' the vote for a motion I tabled at the last AGM .  Can any explain how that works?  Do I need to call an extraordinary meeting to table the motion again or am I supposed to wait to hear from the Body Corporate?  The AGM was in September 09 and I have left several phone messages and sent emails but not received any response.

You should be able to progress the issue with the Strata Manager who deals directly with the Executive of the Body Corporate. If nothing else, they are engaged/paid by the BC (which is all of the owners) and should be able to provide the answers that you need.

    The property is in Qld.

Unfortunately the other owners in the complex are as disengaged as the Body Corporate as the problem only effects my unit!

Getting very exasperating and will be going to the Commissioner to mediate a result, but am just struggling to get things done on a day to day basis as I am not able to contact the relevent people
