Hi, I have a property in Wodonga Victoria. It is a level corner block approx. 600m2 and close to CBD. The property is currently rented to a good tennant. I was intending to sell the property as it is currently costing me money. A local agent has told me they have a builder who is very keen to purchase the property for the land, as the builder believes he can erect three dwellings on the block.

For the long term benefit, I would like to keep the block to do this myself. However, I am not a builder and I live interstate. Am I being delusional, or could I make it happen???

    Hi
Looks like a match to me.
    You own the land.
You want to build some development on it and maybe sell it..
You live far away and can't watch a project every day.
    You're not a builder.
    So you need a builder.
You need a real estate agent to sell it.
    A builder is interested.
So is a real estate agent.
Looks like all the ingredients of a joint venture have fallen into your lap.

You need to research how to do a joint venture if all parties are interested.

    good luck
    cheers
