Hi folks
We are looking at buying a second 2 0r 3 bedroom apartment in Melbourne CBD which we can rent out as a short stay, but which we can use ourselves for a few weeks each year (yes, aware of tax implications). Trouble is we don’t live in Melbourne so would prefer to have cleaning/maintenance etc taken care for us. We have found a number of accommodation brokers who just provide a booking service, but who don’t provide any property management services, and serviced apartments who don’t allow any owner occupation. Any ideas anyone?
student accommodation – students have breaks in the year from university and do not really need to pay rent if they go home for holiday breaks.
