My Partner and I wish to purchase a unit in Sydney. She has owned before and I am a FHO. THe loan and Deed are going to be entirely in My name so we can take advantage of the FHOG and Stamp duty concessions. She is willing to pay me for her share of the loan repayments and stay off the deed. We will probably end up married but not for some time. How, when and under what circumstances would she be able to become part of either the loan/deed or both in the future, so we can take full advantage of the concessions.

    Cheers Poto

If you are defacto you would probably not qualify now.

If not, then I would wait at least 6 months before trying to add her to title – but why bother? This will be a lot of mucking around. If you separate the family law court can still look at dividing the property anyway.
