All Topics / Help Needed! / Westmead or Eastlakes (Sydney)?
My wife and I plan to buy a PROR which is not more than 300K and we may change it to IP after 10 years.
What we concerns are in some aspects: education, transportation, and CG. The most important thing is that we have a new born baby. We want a good environment for her to grow up. We are working in North Sydney and city and want somewhere to travel to central station by bus or train within half hour. It would be better that it can have a good CG.
Now, we found Eastlakes and Westmead which both are convenient to city, and the unit price there is very cheap. Eastlakes is close to City with high rent yield and it belong to eastern suburb. It should have good potential for land value. For Westmead, it can also travel to city by train within half hour. Actually, it is so far which is more than 20km. The properties there are newer than those in Eastlakes and close to Parramatta and may have a good CG. But we already have an IP in Parramatta. It may be not good to invest properties too close. The most important of all, we are not sure in the aspect of education for our baby in those 2 suburbs.
Anyone have opinion to choose from these 2 suburbs or any suggestion for other suburb which is good to move in. Thank you
