    Hi,
any info or advice on working as a mortgage adviser/writer for someone like aussie home laons. I am brit expat, qualified mortgage adviser in uk, used to work for HBOS in a branch providing bank accounts, credit cardss, unsecured loans and home loans. not qualified for investment planning. Moved here with husbands job, two little girls, want flexible hours happy with part-time catch up income, although don't want to be out of pocket obviously. Happy to re-train and pay for my own training if necessary.
I have being doing quite a bit of research , ie how to gain cert iv, cosl membership, pi etc. I don't have any referal network.
Really wondering if I could cover nursery fees if I worked for someone like aussie or wizard etc.

    Any help much appreciated

    Hi Julie

Personally i would avoid Wizard like the plague but cant comment about Aussie HL.

I left the UK in 1993 and started my own business here in Oz 18 months later after spending a year and a bit with one of the major Banks.

Rather than work under an umbrella like the 2 mentioned have you thought about merely tagging up with a normal MB who has access to every lender out there and can process your loans under their agency.

I have several smaller MB's who i process loans for as they dont do enough to warrant the costs of aggregation etc etc.
