    I am looking at buying 5 acres at Jimboomba and there is an existing huge shed 15 x 10m or similar.  I wanted to move the father-in-law into the shed so was thinking of fitting it out with a kitchen and bathroom and build a bedroom etc.

    The place is not on town water or sewage so was wondering do I need council approval for this or can I just install a septic system and start fitting it out?
