I subscribe to "This Ameican Life" podcast on iTunes and I regularly listen to it on the train to work on iPod.
A few months back, they did a full hour episode on US Subprime and how it came about. It was one of the best radio programs I have ever listened to, and I believe a lot of you would find it very entertaining and informative.

Click link above and toward left, there is a small link called "Full Episode". Click that and the radio program should play. Unfortunately, you can't download on iTunes anymore because it is an older episode.
