    Hi All,

PM just message me saying that a large tree has fallen from my property to other other property which has fell on their boat.

I currently have a building insurance with NRMA, will they cover such damage?

I just realise in the certificate of insurance, it was written that I am the one who occupied the home but i have now rent it out. Will this be a problem?
Should i change the details first before making claim?

    Thank u kindly.

Policy probably has some coverage for public liability – it would be a claim on that part of the policy. As to the insured, you have not changed only your occupancy of the property, being a rental should not make a difference.
