    Hello all,

Have been searching through these forums for pre-existing info but no luck yet…

How does one go about finding their own niche? I mean, I understand that it is probably easy for someone with a labouring background behind them to go for renovations, but beyond that, what are some creative ideas that people have used?

I guess at this point I'm looking to brainstorm a list of potential areas that people could focus on.

    Cheers!

PS. appreciate all and any creative responses :)

I've written a blog entitled "Developing the right property investing strategy for your circumstances" which I hope you find helpful as a starting point.

Thanks for the response but it wasn't exactly what I was after. A good blog though!

What I am asking is for people to list their techniques and strategies (whether they use them or just know of them) such as:

    1. Buy on large block, subdivide, sell land, rent house
    2. Buy 1 or 2  bedroom residence, convert existing space to 3rd bedroom, resell / rent
    3. Buy flat, cosmetic reno, increase rent

    Cheers :)
