Sample & Partners offered me a job as finance consultant.They give 2 weeks of training, no salary, only commission upon settlement of the loan.And the criteria is settlement of a minimum of five refinance deals per month.
So guys please advice whether this finance consultant job will work out or not?I would rather slam my old fella in a car door than work for that mob.
They are the bottom feeders of mortgage salesmen. Notice I didn't say brokers, they don't provide much choice of loan – just hard sell one product with a big fee attached. Any real broker can do the same thing for free without the hard sell.
Yes – I would rather slam Simons parts in a car door too – Seriously, commission only is bad enough for a 'legitimate' operation of finace/broking services, let alone a questionable sales operation that will still put pressure and quotas on you, who are putting up everything, while they risk nothing, and then spit you out and move onto someone else when you question things you will not be comforable with, or don't get the results they want.
Is the finance industry the one you want to be in or are already trained in, or is it just a position that sounded ok to you?
