l noticed the rates notice value on a block l like is about 25 % less than what l'd be paying for it and much less than the asking price .
ls that typical or should l be running ?

MaxIs this the council rates notice, or the land tax notice from the Office of State revenue? They can vary greatly, depending on how much revenue they want to collect per financial year. The land tax may be way overvalued, whereas the council land value may be under value. You really need to do some more research to establish the true value of how much the land has been selling for. I would not rely on any rates notice to give a true value indication.

lt's just the last rates notice that came with the vendors statement.Done plenty of price checking but this one is unusual and it's hard to match it up with anything else on the market there right now. Looks good, until l saw the rates notice valuation. Seemed a bit under .Cheers
