when subdiving is there any law to say that the front house should look like the back?
probaly the law of good taste … usually you want to blend in to surroundings to give a home a timeless feel, there are exceptions though of course if the existing house is ugly or if you have a view to rear (waterfront etc) design the home for the view as this is possibly the 'real' front anyway..
