I was doing some thinking today and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using stell frame and tilt up concrete slaps. There are several benefits that I can see to doing this. In particular the flexibility in design. From my research concrete slabs tilted up can support far more weight then conventional methods. By doing this you effectively make none of the internal walls load bearing,  Not to mention speed of construction. I think it would be particularly beneficial when building long 10m frontage 3 story homes.

    What you think.

P.S. are there any good construction forums you know of that may be able to help.

    Cheers

You can use steel in conventional brick veneer construction to achieve greater spans.Steel and precast concrete is by no means a cheap option when it comes to construction.
