    Hi all,

I was considering purchasing an apartment in dubai. The decision would be much easier if depreciation of an international apartment is allowed, especially considering most apartments have considerable shared amenities. Does anyone know if an investor is able to depreciate an international apartment? If so is it still at the standard rate of 2.5% per annum?

Whilst we are on the topic of dubai what do other people think with regards to investing there? The main concerns i have about dubai is the threat of war between america and iran as well as the huge influx of properties on the horizon.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I do think the investing in Dubai is a long term goal. Since you get the profit in long time. Dubai has a good infrastructure and it does gives good return.
