Just excited about our latest buy…! And wanted to share it with you to get some feedback…we think we have bought well anyway, but maybe you can tell us something we didn't know!
We have bought a house in a quaint little town called The Rock, which is just 29kms out of Wagga.
Brick, 4 bedrooms, ensuite, double garage, powered shed, all on a 1200sqm block for just $140K, $35K less than asking price. After spending just $12K in renos (new kitchen, new carpet, blinds & some tiling) it has come up like new and rents out at $260 a week!
Local to Army Barracks & RAAF, we are wrapped with our buy and what this little town will have to offer in time to come…OK, so it is not excatly pumping at the moment, but the rents are great & prices low…makes good buying if you ask us!…and after looking around at what else is on offer there, I think we got the bargain of the century.
