I purchased a removal house, had it placed in storage, subdivided a block from an existing block we owned and then moved the house onto this newly created block.  We had the place repainted inside and out, a carport built as an extension of the patio, plumbed, a driveway built, electricity connected to the house, the roof tied down in accordance with decision notice of council along with the reconfiguration of the handrails/ballustrades of the patio.

The title of the property is held in a Unit Trust and the unit holder is a trustee company of which we are directors.  We have a family trust beneath the Unit Trust.  The Unit Trust is not registered for GST.

Am I liable for GST on the sale of this property?

    Regards
    Mark
