    Hi,

I intend to purchase an off-the plan property in QLD with settlement in more than 12 months (expected growing market ?!). I am desperately shopping around for a deposit bond that would cover the 10% (27k). However I am always told that I can't get any if I don't show equity in an existing property. This is my first investment purchase and don't have any equity in a property. My serviceability is far sufficient to cover the purchase cost .

Does anybody could tip me a financier/lender/mortgage broker that would provide a deposit bond only based on my serviceability.

    cheers.

    Phil.

I dont necessarilly agree with your MB.

As long as you can show you have sufficient funds to complete you should get a long term deposit bond.
