Can anyone assist?
We are currently looking at an investment opportunity in a resort style development with 1-3 bed apartments.
The problem we have encountered is that most banks & other lenders we have spoken to will not accept this form of property as security.
Some of the reasons given include;
– Lease is subject to a letting pool (can be released)
– Title is a 399 yr lease not Title
– Country/Rural location (Vic)
– Mortgage Insurers will not accept.
– They are managed/serviced apartments
Can anyone suggest a lender that may look at this type of investment?
