Im putting together an Investment idea for an investor and I have a question in regards to insurance. The company will be developing some 10 properties and despite all my efforts I cannot find what type of insurance I will be needing. Obviously I will be needing home and contents insurance to cover the developed homes in the envent of fire or the homes being destroyed.
Is this all I will need or will I need to cover myself for public liability, indemnity…..
your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Cheers
What about public liability? Just in case someone injures themselves on site.

In the inclusions list of the home it says construction insurance on base price. Am I right in saying that this covers me for any harm to people on the construction site. The homes come with a six year build guarantee which will pass over to the new owner so im covered interms of workmanship guaranteed.
Is there any insurance that is specific to developers i should know about.
