I have just purchased my second duplex half in Perth. Need to know if it is worth getting a quantity surveyor to look at the properties for a depreciation schedule. How long does the schedule last for? Does it really give you more of a deduction than if your tax agent does it at tax time? Does anyone know of a good one in Perth? [strum]
    Cheers.

There are other threads on depreciation on this forum, do a search and you will find some useful info.

Deppro have an office in Perth, should cost approximately $450 to have a depreciation schedule done.

The tax agent needs the depreciation schedule from the QS to work out the tax. No schedule no claim.
