All Topics / General Property / Positive cashflow properties in current market??
Hi all,
This is my first time on the site. I have just finished my uni degree and have entered the workforce. I am really interested in investing in real estate. I would like to invest in positive cashflow property but am unsure whether these deals are available in the current market. I know it wouldnt be hard for me to invest in a negatively geared property but i would prefer to generate income. Sorry if this is a stupid question.Welcome to the site!!
Do a search through the forums on this topic there’s heaps of great info.
To get you started log onto http://www.realestate.com.au check out kalgoorlie and especially kambalda in the WA goldfields there’s heaps of cash flow positive properties there. I’ve got a few over there and they are working very very very well!!! And there seems to be a massive upside yet to hit this region with state government funding lots of infastructure for the booming population growth over there.
Good luck and welcome
Mikey PI think that you will find that even in the mining towns that real positive cashflow is very hard to buy in the current market. You would need to renovate, subdivide, develop something to get real positive cashflow in the current market. Bu a problem sell or rent back to the market a solution.
