    Hi all,
I just wondered what sort of lending the brokers can offer for ART investments. I’m talking about art portfolios that are rented out at an 8% return, whilst still keeping their value, but in most cases increasing in value. What sort of deposit will I need?

I have a keen interest in art & wish to extend my portfolio. Any suggestions will be most welcome…[inlove]
    Thanks heaps. Dianne Burns

Depends what you use for security.

If you have a property to use as security then normal resi rates apply.

If you plan to use the Art as security then I cannot help as I have no experience in this – I doubt any of our regular brokers will have seen this before.

I suggest you call an art dealer and pump him for info about how his clients borrow to buy – I am sure he will know what happens. There are plenty on the net.

    All the best,
