It is like anything else you join depending on what you want to get out of your membership.
Last time i checked it wasn’t up and running. It was a voluntary run site and i guess the volenteers just ran out.

It’s a dead duck. So much for all the big bravo chest thumping that went with setting it up just a couple of years or so ago.
Time is the real test of the worth of anything and anyone.
Sad but true

How do people know that is no longer exists?
As there are all types of ways to do vendor financing (good and bad), I think there defiantely should be some regulatory mechanism to keep things in check!
Anyone want to start it again? [biggrin]

Thankfully the volunteers are back then.
In Qld we have set our own Professional Standard for the provision of Vendor Finance and don’t feel that being a member of the association has any benefit.
Our in house Solicitor keep us upto date on UCCC changes but i think for anyone starting out or having only done 1 or 2 wraps then membership maybe the way to go.

http://www.adprop.com.auHi Nathan
The VFA is also alive and well in NSW. They had their last meeting at the end of last month which I’m told was well attened and had two guest speakers.
The NSW branch seem to have regular meetings every 3 months and it’s a great opportunity to get together with like minded people.
Dr X, you sound like the next SA Branch President
Cheers, Paul
