Does anybody have any information in relation to investing in the Toorbul or Donnybrook areas between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.? These are quiet waterfront “country” towns which don’t seem to have been discovered by developers yet they are in the desirable Bribie – Pumicestone Passage corridor and are absolute waterfront!
Seems to me they should be a great candidates for strong capital growth in the near future. Maybe a potential gold mine!!
Any feedback would be appreciated as I am considering investing in this area.

    Hi there
Don’t want to be the bearer of bad news but local developers have certainly found Toorbul and Donnybrook.

OK. I don’t see any evidence spending time in those areas and the prices appear to be reasonable away from the waterfront. Please provide more detail.

    Hi,
I have been looking around the Caboolture Shire (between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast) and have found a few reasonably priced properties in Toorbul close to the waterfront facing Bribie Island. Not quite CFP but close. And considering development is bound to take off in the short termm Capital Gain is a given and then of course good CFP outcomes will follow.
Go for it before its too late!

    Thanks Seekercircle,
I also have found a few. Considering one for $175,000 with potential income of $250 / week……just on cash flow neutral. Water views as well! Happy days.
