I would like to get some opinions from experienced property investors.
I am buying a deceased estate: The house is an old brick house, 3 bed room 1 bath room. ( simple yet spacious house) built in 50’s
It is near Darlington ( Perth hills , 30 min drive from city) , land size over 3000 sq. M, the area got some nice character houses, it has a very secluded and nice neighbourhood.
But it needs a new kitchen and a new bathroom.
A house in the same area with less land ( 2000 sq m , this is the standard in this area ) just sold for 650K . It was the same period house but was given a make over ( rendered and painted, swimming pool, added outdoor entertainment area …. )
Should I do the same? upgrade this house and profit ?
