Hidden costs with building…

Hi there investment gurus!
I’m sure you’ve had plenty of experience with building a new home? Are there any common hidden costs that I should look out for? Any adivce or stories that people can offer?

I see the price of the home that I want, but am sure that couldn’t be the ‘total’.
