Hi guys, just wondering if you guys can help me out….I’m actually an investor over in Perth who is interested in using lease option strategy to start my postive cashflow property investment. However, I am not sure if lease option and wrap strategies are legal in Western Australia.
Read a newspaper article several years ago relating to wrap – commenting on how private investors may not act as private financiers to other people in W.A.
Please let me know if it is possible for these strategies to work in W.A. [biggrin]
Hi TK,
The key issue in WA is that you need a credit providers licence.
The best place of contact is The Department of Consumer Affairs. They will be able to provide you with the information you require.
I might add I am not a wrapper so please take my comments with a ‘grain of salt’.
