Scenario is, two houses on one block. back house has the driveway down the side of the block to it. Front house has garage under roof line with drive in from street. They have common stormwater system under the side drive to back house, with big pit and two pumps (to take a once in 200 year storm I think – this pit is as big as an air raid shelter – talk about over engineered) Anyway, I digress. I am selling the townhouses and would like a simple agreement between both parties to halve any maintenace/repair costs on the plumbing and pumps. Could this be composed and typed up by me and then get both of them to sign it? Would this be legal and binding?
