When choosing IP’s how much consideration do you give to the neighbours of any IP? My investing parnter and I have differing opinons about how important this is. I believe it to be very important, especially if you are looking for long term tenants.
Reason i ask is that im looking at 2 IP’s, both with neigbour issues. one IP has a neighbour with an abundance of bird avaries in his backyard, they are well bulit avaries high off the ground but im still worried about mice/pests and also the noise generated. The other IP has neighbours who look like they dont care about the condition of their house, consequenty the house and yard, while not derelict looks pretty ordinary(overgrown grass, broken down cars etc). Im wondering if most investors would just say bugger it and go elsewhere or maybe use it as a bargining chip?
