I heard on the radio today an ad that is out there to confuse first home buyers into purchasing quickly (won’t mention who it is by). It advertises to get in before Dec 31 or you will miss out on the $12,000 first home buyers grant. Whilst this is true it is only being reduced at this date to $10,000 ($7,000 federal and $3,000 state down from $5,000). So as a matter of fact you are missing out on a potential $2,000 hardly an amount to rush for. The end date currently for the State grant is 30 June 2007.
Just thought I’d make people aware
