    Hi there,

    Wondering if anyboyd can help me, i just purchased a unit using 100% borrowing @ 8.2% i recieved the FHOG all this happened say about 2months ago, due to personal circumstances i need to sell the unit.
    What pit falls will i face?
    What fines will i see?
    What costs may be incured?
    What negatives am i going to face?

    As far as the FHOG goes, just speak to your local State Revenue Office (or equivalent), explain the issue and they will not demand more than the original grant. Failure to disclose the issue and repay the grant will more than likely result in a fine over and above the grant value.
    Others can probably best advise on other matters.

    Hi zaksta,

    The only tweak I would make on Foundation’s comment is to write to the OSR and ask them for an answer. Provide your details and reasons and post the letter (email off).

    This way you will have something written down that will be a reference point should someone zealous come along in the future.
