    Hi everyone
    We are looking for our first investment opportunity in Perth and see a few apartments in the Waldorf & Mounts Bay complex on Mounts Bay Road. They are fully serviced apartments that offer a rent guarentee.

    Is there anyone that either has bought one of these or has looked into it and can offer us any advise ? We would be buying it with existing equity.

    Hi

    In 2002 my cousin bought a 2 bedroom apt in Waldorf. We bought in Observation Rise in Scarborough.

    Was chatting to her the other day. Their apartment has only gone up about $30,000.
    Ours doubled in that time.

    yes I looked at the mounts bay ones about 8 years ago and can say i am glad i didnt invest – the growth in that time would have been minimal. the huge emu brewery apartment tower (70 odd stories?) will be a few doors down as well and you will be competing with that
