After sitting back and watching the forums, and trying to take in as much info as we can, we are unsure which path to take…Does anyone know of a ‘Switched On’, financial adviser/broker in the Geelong region (preferably). We would be looking for someone that we can sit down with, to discuss our situation and hopefully steer us in the right direction, with property investing.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Very modest, I do recomend Mortgage Hunter, he has excellent service and very ‘Switched On’ with investment loans.

—I’m confused! Beast if you are looking for an advisor it is very difficult to find a finacial advisor whom knows about property, because they make no income off property. They make their money (or comissions) by recommending managed funds (very few financial advisor will even recommend stocks).
My mortgage broker is my advisor for a whole range of issues, because he spends alot of time (and money) getting the latest info and giving it to his clients.
As a side note he has never advised me to do anything, he has simply let me know what other investors are doing, because if he did ‘advise’ me he could be legally liable (i.e. I could sue him) if I went bankrupt or made a bad investment decision.

All I can say is all of you guys trying to help Beast are either really thick skinned, really really nice, really keen for Beast’s custom or a combination of all 3.
With his terse, smarmy attitude I’d let him stew in his own juices. Perhaps I’m just not cut out for a job in the service industry.
