We are looking to buy our first property and was wondering if anyone out there has invested in Chinchilla. I have agents telling me that there is a shortage of rentals but I don’t know whether to believe them or not.
In case know one has rentals there – is there somewhere I can go to get stats on rentals in particular towns.
Look forward to someone giving me some advise. Admittedly very nervous about taking the big step of investing.

As has been suggested in other threads, call the RE agents in the town and pretend you are looking to rent. That way you will gain a greater understanding of what the market is really like.
