    Hi all, I’m looking at renovating to sell but the banks dont want to know about owner builders, and have stated you still require 20% equity and have said mortage insurance is not an option.

    any thoughts thanks wayne

    Wayne, just noticed your post with no replies. Suggest getting in touch with mortgage broker who can present to many more options than that of one useless bank. Good luck.
