    Hi,

I’m currently in the process of purchasing a studio apartment in Potts Point. It comes furnished. I have heard from some real estate agents that fully furnished units tend to be harder to lease and are on shorter leases (thus incurring more fees, 1 week rent is paid to the agent on reletting). Apparently the average lease length in potts point is 3 months for fully furnished place. Does this sound accurate?

I’m thinking of calling the real estate agents in the area and asking, does anyone have suggestion on how to phrase the question? Thanks in advance for your help. Its my first property I really like it I think I’m getting emotionally attached and looking for reasons to buy!

    Cheers

You could always pretend to be a prospective tenant and see what you can find out from that. Fall in love with the deal, not the property. All too often getting emotionally attached can lead to getting financially f&%$#@.

    Good Luck…G7
