I’m trying to decide where to buy some property. I would like to find some information on the median house price growth for every sydney suburb for the last 10 years. any idea where i can locate this information?
Hi Dave,
I’m not sure whil you’re looking for Capital gains in Sydney given the current market conditions but Residex may have what you’re after. However they’ll want some money from you.
See: http://www.residex.com.au/index.php?content=top100&PHPSESSID=82c127e3e681969ee0451dbed5acef3b
For the record, I’d also like to know if anyone knows where to get this info for free…

You could try http://www.rpddata.com.au they do pretty good reports but they’re not free though.
Also the ABS at http://www.abs.gov.au is good for figures, but typically decent information comes at a price.
How about the real estate institute in your area?
http://www.reiwa.com.au is great for WA
