    Hi,

I have a townhouse in Canberra that is currently tenanted (month to month) that I would like to sell.

I wondered what the process is regarding:
    – giving notice to the tenant of my intention to sell (what to include in the letter, etc)
    – getting Valuators, Building Inspectors and MYSELF through the property.
    – me taking photos of the property and using them for advertising
    – WHEN to give notice to move out (as soon as the contracts are exchanged?)

Any info. would be appreciated in reagrds to my queries above (and any other info. you may have).

    Thanks,
    pasandbec

    That’s another thing!
I can never get a hold of my tenant! When I leave messages, she doesn’t call me back! grrrr!
Can I just leave a message or send her a letter or fax saying “this when I’m coming around to take photos/building inspectors are coming through/etc “????

    Hi Pasandbec,

If you had a lease in place before it went periodical the same conditions still apply. So go back to your original agreement and see what that says about notices to tenant, terminations of leases etc.
