    Bwendan,

Try: http://www.gradlink.edu.au/content/view/full/230 which also has http://www.gradsonline.edu.au/gradsonline/ as part of it. They offer some great survey info to potential course candidates to help give them an overview of the study they are considering or currently undertaking.

    Cheers,

    Jo

    Bwendan,

A Bachelor of Commerce can be extremly boring and tedious in first year as you have no choice over your subjects. However later as you choose which stream you go into, it becomes ok. And your job possiblities are extremely wide. You just have to stick out first year.

Well my experiences of my BComm were some time ago so they might not be as relevant today.

I majored in economics/econometrics and have been in procurement for the last 7 years…..For memory I selected those (well at least economics)because I did well!..I didn’t have any plan post uni whilst I was there except to travel to Europe to see family …

Fell into property management (both commercial and residential) for a short period of time and then moved onto procurement….

I went to a private school in Melbourne…

I think If you can combine a Bcomm with something else, that may give some more depth from your educational experience…then again it is another year (?) i think…

    Good luck whatever you choose

is it interesting? Not at all, except for the law subjects
are you specialising in anything? My major was accounting
what are you intending to do after uni? Become a CA
what uni are you going to? Went to an ok one
was this your first preference? Yes
what was your TER score? In Qld we have OP scores and I got an OP 4 (which is like top 10% or something)
did u go to a public of private high school? Catholic girls school

I’ve wanted to become an accountant for a very long time. So unless you want to do something like that, a BComm is very tedious and mostly irrelevant to working life. Or so I’ve found.

    Good luck nonetheless. [cap]
