hi steve, we have a new partner in our business, but also want to enter into an investment partnership with the same person.
We will be starting a pty ltd company to address the first business partnership. How did you structure your investing partnership with Dave?
I am half way through your book – i am loving the enlightenment. Our partner is also reading you book at the moment, so we are ready to go, but not sure how to work it.

I think Steve and Dave setup trusts where both were directors or the trustee companies.

Yes they did Terry. They used a discretionary trust and also have various beneficiaries to distribute the earnings to minimise the tax impact.
