Well happy new year to everyone for tomorrow first of all!I am very curious about Lease options as they seem easier to execute than wraps for the moment, here in WA. I need to do some more investigating about wraps in WA over the next few months before I’ll pay the money to get my license.
What I need to know, is there a lease option resource pack that people use for guidance? I have seen the “Australia Guide to Property Lease Options” by Phileppe Richert Jr on the financially free website, and wanna know if someone has used it?
[weird]Other than that, are there some other resources that people recommend to do with Lease Options? I have seen the Rick Otton version, but can’t quite afford the $1800.
Failing that, is there a forumite out there who can help with their knowledge?
Cheers

$1,800?????
I feel rorted! I was told more than $2,500!
Can you let me know if you find a cheaper pack that also contains information pertaining to NSW?
Maybe we could get a group discount?
Maybe Steve’s ears a pricking up and he can see a demand for the latest addition to his product offerings – A Lease Option Pack… preferably for a few hundred dollars!

© 2004 Mortgage Packaging Pty LtdRobert, they seem to have a discount or something running on the website. I think it was $2500. I dunno, just seems a hell of a lot of money. I’m prepared to depart with a bit of money, but not THAT much…
Are there companies or departments that deal with Lease options inthe different states? I’m in WA.
Cheers
Steph.
I like educating myself, but surely there are cheaper ways of doing it…No need to buy any kits or packs. just do it! Talk to a solicitor and save some money.
one cheap Aussie book that I bought years ago was the Lease Option Handbook, for about $80. http://www.creativerealestateinvesting.com.au

Terry, that’s fair enough, but I sometimes feel overwhelmed when thinking about solicitors.
Do I just look through the yellowpages for Property solicitors or do they come under some other banner?

Hi Scremin,
I have just purchased the Australian Guide to Property Lease Options ebook from the financially free website for $77. However, I seem to be having some technical difficulties accessing it. Once this is sorted, I will let you know if its useful (fingers crossed!)
Cheers
MargotHi all,
I think we’re all looking forward to your investigations Margot. I’m in SA where we can’t do wraps so I too am very intersted in the legalities and structure of Lease options. Sorry Steve, but that was one area I certainly thought your books lacked content. Plenty of inspiring and tantalising great ideas, but no constructive information about the intricate workings of setting them up and implimenting them.
Hopefully this forum will lead us to the promised land of Lease option heaven.

Simon TannerWhy don’t you all ask questions here, then you can save money and not buy the different packs… The Australian Lease Options handbook is a good all-round intro to lease options.
